You can help ensure children and families in Southern Indiana get opportunities to reach their full potential and build foundations of well-being that can last many generations into the future. Your generous gift, in partnership with others, help preserve, support, and stabilize children and families in crisis within our community. Family Ark is a nonprofit 501 (C)(3) organization so your gift is tax deductible as allowed by law.
The Family Ark Circle of Empowerment
You can help provide a pathway for families to heal and thrive by becoming a Family Ark Circle of Empowerment member. Circle of Empowerment members are exclusively invited to a Family Ark’s social event with the Family Ark board and leadership. Members are recognized annually at our events, in our annual reports, newsletters, website and on social media. The Family Ark Circle of Empowerment is a 3-year commitment* at each level.

In-Kind Donations
Family Ark accepts in-kind donations such as office supplies, equipment and appliances, gift certificates, and services. Our commissary, which is a free store for the families we serve is always in need of non-perishable food items, toiletries, new or gently used children’s clothing, new or gently used toys, and diapers. New backpacks with or without school supplies are needed throughout the year for our children in care.
Family Ark’s Annual Events
Family Ark’s annual fundraising events help support all of our services and programs including foster care, home based services, transitional living programs and the Behavior Health Center. Family Ark’s events include festivities such as catered dinners, silent and live auctions, exclusive company tours, and breakfast programs. See the EVENTS tab for our upcoming events.
Memorial or Honor Gifts
Giving a donation in honor or in memory of someone is a unique way to remember that special person. These gifts are acknowledged in our Annual Report.
